Carolyn Sue McCrimmon, a long-time resident of Southern Pines, NC was called home on Saturday, February 29th. Carolyn was born on March 20th, 1941 in Robbins, NC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. McCrimmon of Southern Pines, NC; Her father, Raymond Williams of Patrick SC. her mother, Martha Williams of Southern Pines, NC and her brother Danny Williams of Monterey CA. She is survived by her brother, Victor Williams of Vass, NC.
Carolyn leaves behind four loving children: Lawrence R. McCrimmon of Palm Coast, FL, Phillip C.McCrimmon of Aberdeen, NC, Gayle A. McCrimmon of Pinebluff, NC, and Neil P.McCrimmon, Pinebluff, NC.
Carolyn is best remembered for long time work at the Southern National Bank in Southern Pines. She is remembered for her friendly smile and sincere love of helping people.
Later in life Carolyn devoted all of her time working in her yard. She always had one of the nicest yards in Southern Pines. Carolyn always said working in her yard gave her a sense of joy.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10AM followed by a service at 10AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Southern Pines. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
