Carrie Lynne Rowley was born on November 1, 1963 in Newport Beach, California. The daughter of Bobbee Kay Alkema and Charles P. Rowley, she finished her formal education at Saugus High School in the Santa Clarita Valley, CA, and excelled in her studies.

Carrie received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in her teen years and that faith was an integral everlasting part of her life.

After a successful career as a professional typesetter in Los Angeles, CA, Carrie moved to Southern Pines, NC with her son Danny in 2004.  She quickly found a job at Lowes Home Improvement in Southern Pines and has been an integral part of the company for fifteen years. In her spare time, Carrie enjoyed cooking, gardening, and doing her own home improvement projects.

Carrie was truly a blessing to her family and friends.  Carrie lost a valiant battle with breast cancer and passed into the arms of Jesus on November 16, 2019 at 10:15 pm.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Son Daniel, Mother Bobbee, Brothers Frank and Chuck, Sisters Kathy, Niki, Lisa, Second Mom Jeanne, a host of family and friends.

She will be missed forever and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Service for Carrie will be at Boles Funeral Home, December 7, 2019, at 1:00 pm, 425 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines, NC.
