Cynthia “Cindy” McInnis King, age 55, of Jackson Springs, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8. Burial will be private.
Cindy was born in Moore County on August 20, 1967 to Brenda Hannah McInnis and the late Alan Raymond McInnis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Bowyer.
Cindy enjoyed cooking, some of her favorite dishes were, potato salad, devil eggs and strawberry cupcakes and she always had a glass of sweet tea in her hand. She also loved to garden and dance. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, David Earl King; sons, David Thomas King (Susan) of Jackson Springs, Robert King (Brittany) of Eagle Springs; brothers, Wayne McInnis (Dorene) of Biscoe, Chris Bowyer of West End; grandchildren, Zackary King, Chance King, Chad Jones, Sarahann Jones.
