Obituary for David M. Brennan 

David M. Brennan, a 20 year veteran as Navy Commander, a devoted father and grandfather passed away on April, 1, 2023 at the age of 77 with his loving family by his side.  He was born June 2, 1945 to Martin Brennan and Patricia (Funkey) Brennan.

Dave’s personal contributions to the nation during periods of armed conflict, as well as peacetime vigilance were recognized by the Department of the Navy on multiple levels.  He was an accomplished Navy A-6 Intruder pilot who had three tours on the USS Enterprise.  He was onboard the recovery of the Apollo Mission 13 Capsule.  He attended the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.  He was a man who was truly devoted to our country.

Dave is survived by his two daughters, Lori Martinez (Mark) and Amy Moochler (Patrick) as well as his four grandchildren whom is was so proud of, Elizabeth and Nathan Martinez and Jack and Maura Moochler.  He was predeceased by his beloved son David James Brennan (D.J.).  He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
