Dora “Kathryn” Nurnberg, 87, died Sunday, February 23rd at her home. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carthage with Rev. Eugene Ussery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM before the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis William Nurnberg and daughter, Wanda Nurnberg McInnis.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, LeRoy Nurnberg, her children Carl Nurnberg and wife Laura of St. Louis, MO, Wayne Nurnberg and wife Marjorie of Seven Lakes and Julie Hendrick and husband Denny of Seven Lakes. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters Thelma Smith of Sanford, NC, Laura Jones and husband Richard of Wilmington, NC, and Patricia Bumgarner and husband Lloyd of Cameron.
The family would like to thank FirstHealth Hospice for the great care of their loved one.
