Obituary Edward Woodrow McCrimmon Aberdeen

Mr. Edward Woodrow McCrimmon, 73, of Aberdeen, North Carolina, son of the late Leo Everett and Lucille McCrimmon Williams, was born on April 8, 1947 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. He departed this life into eternal rest on October 21, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina, where he received many prayers from his family, friends and church members.

Woodrow attended Berkley High School. Upon completion, he worked with horses and did landscaping. He loved sports and racing cars. His car won the NHRA National Drag Car Championship in Rockingham, North Carolina. Woodrow was a very compassionate person. He loved the Lord, and attended church regularly until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hill, and three brothers, Edward Williams, Jr., George Williams, and Glenn Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Larry Williams of Cameron Village Community, Raeford, North Carolina and Victor Wayne Williams of Raeford, North Carolina; two sisters, Yvonne and Sharon Williams of Cameron Village Community, Raeford, North Carolina; two uncles, Johnnie McCrimmon of Pinehurst, North Carolina, and Bobby McCrimmon (Doretha) of Aberdeen, North Carolina; three aunts, Shirley McCrimmon Harris and Roberta McCrimmon of Aberdeen, North Carolina, and Naomi Andrews of Fayetteville, North Carolina; very special friend, Elaine Harris, a son, Tristan Harris and two grandsons, T.J. and Tate Harris. “We love you PaPa!! Love you Woody and I always will!!”; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Jones and Little  Funeral Home in Aberdeen, North Carolina. Covid-19 guidelines will be followed. Those attending are asked to wear face coverings.
