Fred “Freddie” Presnell, 69, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro, NC.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, December 24, 2018 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Reverend David Woodhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at noon in the Sanctuary.
Freddie was a native of Randolph County. He retired from Eveready/Energizer Company, where he was a machinist.. He enjoyed NASCAR, was a Chevrolet and Dale Earnhardt fan. Freddie liked camping with his family and time spent with his grandson Justin, was very important. He was a son of the late Charles and Mary Hancock Presnell and was preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth and Johnny Presnell.
Freddie is survived by wife of 48 years Bernice; daughter: Christy, grandson: Justin and many nieces, nephews and friends.
