Gary Bruce Leopper, passed away at age 67, on December 24, 2022 at his home in Carthage, NC.
He was born on February 16, 1955 in Fort Benning, GA and was a son of Lillie Swafford Leopper and the late Gary Lee Leopper.
In addition to his mother, Lillie Leopper, Gary is survived by his two younger brothers: Steve and wife Shelia of Powell, TN, Randall of Knoxville, TN; his nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Gary served in the Army for 23 years with a continued career as a civilian contractor at Fort Bragg. Gary was the President of the Moore County Wildlife Club where he developed close relationships with local law enforcement and his community. Gary was known for always being willing to help others and to share a good story. He will be greatly missed by many people.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 2 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. There will be a time of visitation immediately following the service.
