Gregory W. Thompson of Aberdeen, joined our mama, Vivian M. Thompson in heaven on March 23, 2019 at the age of 54.
As much as it breaks our hearts that he had to leave so soon, we know that our mama needed him more and he’s right where he wanted to be, since she left us.
He leaves behind his parents, Roy and Opal Thompson; son, Andrew Thompson (Dylan); daughter, Meagan Thompson (Jack) and Andrea McBride; and his beautiful granddaughters, Caroline Holland and Alanna McBride; and awesome grandson, Jordan McBride.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Alma Thompson; and Andrew and Sally Ledbetter.
He will also be missed by his special friend, Karen Jacobs.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 1:00PM at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines with military honors. The family will receive friends following the service.
