James Archie Arnold, 82, of Lakeview, went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, April 24, 2020.
James was born in Addor, North Carolina to the late Fred Arnold and Erma Seagraves. He was a janitor by trade and worked for Whisper Nets for several years. James loved WWE wrestling which was his passion. He watched every Monday and Thursday night and over the years met several of his favorite wrestlers. James’ most important love other than his family was his church. He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Vass where he was ordained a Deacon, played guitar, and sang on the choir. His faith was strong and he loved and prayed for everyone. Even as his health was failing, he still got on his knees and prayed every night when he could.
James is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Daisy Arnold; three daughters, Isiendra Bandy of Cameron, Wanda Brower (Robert) of Carthage, and Reene Little of Lakeview; six grandchildren, April Thomas, Lashonda Thomas, Ben (BJ) Thomas all of Cameron, Wanda Brower, Patrick Brower both of Addor, and Larissa Crawford of Lakeview; twenty-one great-grand; a special cousin, Judy Jordan (Eric) of Maryland; and a host of relatives and a church family who he cherished dearly.
Due to COVID -19, a memorial service will be held later.
