Jewell Graham Thomas, age 86, of Carthage, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Sunday at Community Friends Church conducted by Rev. Kenneth McNeill.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Bessie Norman Graham. She worked for many years in Columbus County as the assistant clerk of court. Jewell was a faithful member of Whiteville United Methodist Church for over 30 years. After moving back to Moore County she became an active member of Community Friends Church in Carthage.
She was Preceded in death by sisters, Nellie Graham Smith, and Felicia Graham Walters.
She is survived by her son Mark Thomas and wife June of Graham; brother Alfred “A.A” Graham and wife Catherine of Carthage; granddaughter Kayla Thomas and fiance Seth Hayes; special friends Gina, Sarah, Lydia and Larry.
