Obituary John E. Belcher II Cameron

John E Belcher II, 73, Cameron, NC went home to be with Jesus on 4/12/2021.

Ernie was born in Dade City, FL, and was a Florida man at heart, but made the move to North Carolina in 2003 to be closer to family.  His passion was classic country and bluegrass gospel music making many dear friends in the local music circle.  He played mostly rhythm acoustic guitar and sang when we could talk him in into it.  He also loved classic cars.  He could glimpse a small part of a classic collectible vehicle and tell you the make, model, and year with confidence. He was a loving, caring, proud father, grandfather, and husband and he loved God with all his heart.  In his later years, his Christian walk got very strong.  He will be very sadly missed by all but he’s no doubt made it to Glory, his ultimate desire as he left this earth. Ernie is preceded in death by his father, John E Belcher, mother, Marjorie Manning Belcher, and brother Edgar Eugene Belcher.

He is survived by wife Kimberly M Belcher,  daughters Tabitha Dawn Taber (Tim), Courtney M Lovely (Kyle), and Amanda K Belcher of the home, grandchildren Sara Whittle, Carlee Taber, Noah Taber, and Logan Lovely, great-grandsons Gage Whittle and Ryder Whittle as well as nephew John Edward Belcher and niece Peggy Belcher Ribaudo.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home-Aberdeen.
