John Michael Veit, age 69, of Southern Pines, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at his home.
John was born in Indiana on March 15, 1953 to the late Edward M. and Louise Anderson Veit.
John was a retired veteran having served in the U. S. Navy. His strong work ethic and love of his country made him an inspiration to his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sons, Johnny Veit and wife Marina of Pinebluff, Jason Veit and wife Carolyn of Carthage; brothers, Eddie, David, Carl and Leonard and a grandson, Odin Veit.
A private service will be held at a later date at sea.
