Funeral Service: Thursday, March 19, 2020, 1:00 PM, First Missionary Baptist Church, 315 South Gaines Street, Southern Pines, North Carolina, where he was a member.
Visitation: Thursday, March 19, 2020, 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, at the church.
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Southern Pines.
Survivors: Wife, Jill Vamper; children, Tammy Vamper (Olivia), Tonya Vamper (David), Shimika Vamper, Tashawena Pride, Barbara Chappel (Patrick), and Rodney Wood; brothers, Theron Vamper (Maudine), Arizona Vamper (Sandra), Lorenzo Vamper (Cassandra), and Martin Vamper; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
