Joyce Tysinger, 83, of Southern Pines, passed away Wednesday, April 1st, at the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Born in China Grove, July 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Mary Tomlin. In addition to her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her 9 siblings. She is survived by her daughters: Ronna Martin, Joni Mawyer, husband Tony, and Kim Smith, husband Mike. She was the grandmother of Katherine Martin, Paige Kentner, Brandon Mawyer, Girlfriend Allison Sheppard, and Kevin Martin and girlfriend Cassy Conneway. She is also survived by her 4 great – grandchildren: Selah, Mia and Clara Kentner and Grayson Mawyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.
