Judith “Judy” Nelson Fee Mellenthien, 75, of Aberdeen, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 10th. She loved the Lord, her church and her family and friends.
Born in Bristol, TN, July 7, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Arch Henry and Carmen Richardson Nelson. Judy was a graduate of Bristol High School, class of 1962. In 1978 she moved to Aberdeen, NC where she worked for Quis Machinery, Inc.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Donald Mellenthien; sister Patsy Evelyn Nelson; brothers Arch Edwin “Eddie” Nelson and Richard Henry Nelson. She is survived her nephews: Arche Edwin “Eddie” Nelson, Jr. (April), their son Connor, of Bristol, TN, and Gary Fish (Chloteen) of Dunnellon, FL.; nieces: Elizabeth Nelson Jones (Todd), their children Greyson and Lily Jones of Bristol, TN, Joanne Eberth of Lancaster, NY, and Barbara Harris of East Bethany, NY, special aunt to Maggie B. Richardson. She is also survived by sister-in-law Loretta Nelson of Bristol, TN and many cousins and friends.
