Obituary for Keyon Reaves

Keyon Reaves departed this world on Friday, January 14th in his mother’s arms.

He was born in Moore County on June 6th, 2005, lived most of his life in Aberdeen, and later moved to Raeford. He attended Hoke high school and enjoyed playing football and basketball with his friends and cousins. Keyon also enjoyed spending time with his family. Keyon enjoyed making music and spending time with his sisters and brother. Keyon was a sneakerhead to the fullest definition of the word. He enjoyed looking good and being dressed all the way up. He would often speak with his siblings about Larger-than-Life issues that would have his sisters calling him an “Old Soul”.

He also enjoyed spending time by himself reflecting on the world and what he could be next. He was a goofy and playful guy who took pride in protecting his siblings and making his brother a stronger young man.

Keyon is survived by his parents, Latonia Kelley and Keidra Reaves. His Grandparents, Arthur and Jessie Kelley, Pamela Reaves, and Richard Jones. His Siblings K’yona Reaves, Ariona Reaves, Keidra (Lil’ Keidra) Reaves, Paris Reaves, Jada Reaves, and Montiece McManus, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends who will miss him greatly.
