Kivan Clifford Moore, 90, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Reverend Cameron Dockery. The body will lie in state from 2 to 5 PM, Friday, January 1, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home.

A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Ethel Brown Moore. Kivan served his country in the United States Army. He loved working on cars, especially Fords.  He worked at Phillips Ford and then owned and operated Westmoore Motor Service for over 55 years. He was preceded in death by sisters: Alma Ledbetter, Ruby Robinson, Thelma Brown, Myrtle Brown Bruce, Geneva Ritter; brothers: Roy Moore, Warren Moore.

Kivan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred; daughters: Janet Freeman and husband David, Jennifer Garner and husband Ronnie; grandchildren: Emily Davis, Daniel Garner and wife Heather, Paige Alford and husband Scott; 4 great grandchildren;  brother: Gilbert Moore; many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
