Liliane Blanche Partain, 79, of Seven Lakes, passed away at her home on Saturday Nov. 9th.

Born in Sion, Valais, Switzerland, Mar. 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Blanche Emilie Jaton Derivaz.  When she was 26, Liliane married Oral M. Partain, whom she met while working together in Geneva.  Together the 2 had traveled the world, living in:  Australia, the Philippines, South Africa, London and Tokyo.  Liliane had an eye for fashion.  She opened her own boutique in Tokyo and had also been an interior decorator.  She was athletic; whether hiking in the mountains or skiing down them.  Liliane had also trained Polo Horses.  She enjoyed many genres of music and singing took up the trumpet later in life.

There will be a ceremony for her at the Chapel in the Pines, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church fellowship hall.  The family will bring her urn back to Switzerland where she will be reunited with her late husband.
