Marion Kenneth “Ken” Meredith, age 78 of Pinehurst passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Ken was born on January 12, 1942 in Bee Springs, Kentucky to the late Elbert Meredith and Clara Bullock Meredith. After high school, Ken attended Murray State where he played baseball, a game that he really enjoyed. He also collected Hess Trucks and would collect each year’s model. Nobody loved to live more than Ken.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Meredith of Pinehurst; his daughter, Allyson Presley Cunningham and husband Eric of Missouri; his son, John Meredith and his wife Nicole of New York; two brothers: Linuel Meredith and Gerald Meredith both of Kentucky. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren: Sarah Meredith, Katherine Presley and Ryan Presley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clement Meredith.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst with Rev. Chuck Vickers officiating.
