Ms. Nellie Capel, 96, of Eagle Springs, NC passed away on Monday, Feb.17, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Candor.
Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Candor.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Katie Bryant, Shirley Bennett (Henry), Vernell Mayo, Serita Gailin (Claude) and Marchella Miller. One son Rev. Charles Capel (Veronica) and one son-in-law Willie Brower. Thirty-two grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren and fifty-four great great grandchildren. One sister-in-law Ruth Gainey of Charlotte, NC a very close and dear friend Mrs. Della Townsend. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
