Patricia Mathes Milligan, 70, of Pinehurst, passed away on November 7, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care with her family and dear friends by her side.

Pat was born on February 6, 1948 in Paterson, NJ. As a young woman, Pat was a professional bowler, touring the country with her competition team. She later embarked upon a new career as a Casino executive for the Trump Organization in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Upon her retirement, she decided to move to Pinehurst to pursue her love of golf. While at Pinehurst, she also found a love for the local potters. She was tirelessly dedicated to her family and friends. Her generosity and creativity will be missed.

Pat is predeceased by her beloved son, Kirk Luczynski, and her cherished father, Warren Mathes. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Howard Milligan, and her daughter Jill Schmidt and her husband Andrew, and grandchildren Ryan Schmidt and Emily Schmidt, all of Oak Ridge, NJ. Additionally, she is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Mathes of Pinehurst.

A remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1pm-3pm at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3pm-5pm at the 2 View Ballroom in the Pinehurst Country Club.
