Ruby Jacqueline “Jackie” Davis, 92, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend DJ Harry, Reverend Billy Joe Brady and Reverend Arnold Comer officiating. The body will lie in state from 3:00 until 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
Jackie was born in Richmond County to the late Roscoe Eugene and Mary Jane Nalls Brown. She worked in the foodservice industry for many years. Jackie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed time spent with her family. Jackie loved to work in her vegetable garden, do crossword puzzles, read her Bible and watch Christian television. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 5 siblings.
Jackie is survived by husband: Fermon Davis; son: Wayne Davis and wife Gail; grandchildren: Steve Davis and wife Pam, Ronald Davis and wife Courtney, Brian Davis; great grandchildren: Kelly, Ashley, Joe, Isaiah, Jonah; many nieces, nephews and friends.
