Savin Chapel Camina, 40, of Southern Pines, North Carolina passed on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 12th at the East Hill Cemetery in Salem, Virginia with the Reverend Henrickson officiating.
Savin was born December 27, 1982 in Chapel Hill to Jose` and Tonia (Sigmon) Camina.
Despite his struggles, Savin tackled life with humor, love and infinite compassion. He was a devoted, loving son and a proud, protective brother to Lily. He loved his nephew and niece, Remy and Paloma, beyond words. He and his golden retriever, Rupert, were inseparable and Rupert is lost without him.
Savin was preceded in death by his brothers Laron and Teran Camina.
He is survived by his parents Jose` and Tonia Camina of Southern Pines; a sister, Lily Camina-Vick and husband Matt Vick of Pinehurst; a nephew and niece, Remy and Paloma Vick; uncle, Autrey Sigmon and wife Polly of Cullman, Alabama; and cousins Crystal Pruett, Cole Pruett, Stephanie Sigmon, Todd Sigmon, and Melanie Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Savin to the Sandhills Children Center of Southern Pines.
