Swaine Coleen (Morgan) Grower, 86, of Aberdeen, passed on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM on Friday, April 26th 2019 with a service to follow at 2PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Southern Pines. Rev. Gregg Newton will officiate. Mrs. Grower will be laid to rest in the Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.
Mrs. Grower was born May 12, 1932 in Moore County to the late Alex and Irene (Garner) Morgan. She retired after 30 years from Carolina Telephone now Sprint enjoying many years of retirement with her late husband Richard Grower until his passing in 2015. She loved to travel, gardening, her dogs, and the beach. She was a loving mother who always had a caring heart for others. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Grower was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Richard Karl Grower. She is survived by daughter, Zada Tyeann Wicker of Oak Island, NC; a sister, Helen Rose Frye of Aberdeen.
