Terry was born in Michigan to the late William and Lelah Guttrich. After his high school graduation, he went on to earn his Bachelors’ Degree from Central Michigan University. Terry spent his career with the Dow Chemical Company in Sales & Marketing working with consumer products. Other than his love for his work, his passion was yard maintenance and sporting events, including his beloved Central Michigan Chippewas.

Upon retiring to Pinehurst he enjoyed being involved with the Newcomers Club including his presidency in 1999. Terry also worked with the Republican Men’s Club as vice president and a chairperson for their major golf outing. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies both “on and off campus”.

A cherished memory is of his climb to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite after the age of 60. Terry was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments. Being with friends made life special for Terry.

Terry was the loving husband of Bonnie (Glass) Guttrich. He was the father of Terri Ann Rozek, husband Tom, Bill Guttrich, wife Katrina, Jamie Guttrich, wife Shannon, and Jodie Guttrich, wife Jill. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Danielle Donner, husband Michael, Alison Siller, husband Alex, Jordan Guttrich, fiancé Charlotte, and 2 great – grandchildren. Terry was the brother of Rosanne Haselschwerdt and Gary Guttrich.
