Thomas Irvin Thorne, 88, of Aberdeen, NC, passed away at Peak Resources in on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born on March 16, 1930 in Wilson County to the late Onnie Lee Thorne and Martha Woodard Thorne.
Tommy was the owner and operator of Thorne Pinestraw for many years serving the Sandhills and other portions of North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 64 years, Martha Thorne, their children Carol Waldrop (John) and their son Chris Waldrop (Emily); Melvin Thorne (Connie) and his children Ashley Thorne, Jeremy Thorne, and Lindsay Picerno; Jamie Thorne (Michelle) and their children Andrea Breedlove and Brandon Thorne; as well as three great-grandchildren.
