Yvonne Williams Horner of Eagle Springs, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, surrounded by her children.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 14,2019, at New Testament Baptist Church in Robbins, NC with the Reverend Darren Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Yvonne was the daughter of the late Charlie and Etta Jane Currie Williams of Eagle Springs. She was preceded in death by brothers: Forrest Williams, Lewis Williams, sister, Arlene Williams Monroe, and a very special nephew, Brian Williams.

Yvonne is survived by her husband Thomas V. Horner of Robbins, her daughter, Karen Castro and husband Cristobal of Raeford, her son, Thomas Horner, Jr. and wife Ericka of Carthage, her daughter, Sharon Frost and Brian Carbonaro of Seagrove and her daughter, Rebekah Hussey and husband Shannon of Bear Creek; grandchildren Ashley Davis of Robbins, Nathan Davis of Sophia, Timothy and Hannah Hussey of Bear Creek and Erick and Matthew Horner of Carthage; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Braxton Perez of Robbins, Evelyn Davis of Sophia and Bentley Stewart of Robbins; sisters Maxine McNeill, Leoma Barber and Mary Etta Brown; brothers Floyd Williams and wife, Greer, J.D. Williams and wife, Nancy, Wayne Williams and wife, Connie and Darrell Williams; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Yvonne graduated from Elise High School. She was a charter member of New Testament Baptist Church in Robbins and had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church activities, tending her flowers and decorating for the Holidays.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m, Thursday,.June 13,2019, at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and at other times, at the home of Mrs. Horner at 180 Will Road, Eagle Springs, NC.

The family offers their thanks for the excellent and compassionate care given by the staff at Duke University Medical Center and Duke Hospice Hock Family Pavilion.
