Sheba Tyner McKenzie, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Fairview Baptist Church, 1572 Carthage Rd., West End, NC with the Rev. Brad Marona and Aaron Wicker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 at the church before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sheba was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens and loved spending time with all of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger C. McKenzie, Sr., her sons, Roger C. McKenzie, Jr. and his wife Jamie, Carl McKenzie and his wife Jodi all of Jackson Springs, NC, her grandson, Luke McKenzie of Jackson Springs, NC, her sisters, Mildred Vaughn of West End, NC, Sara Wiggins of Carthage, NC, Juanita Boles of West End, NC, her loving pet Sally, and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her children.
