One man was transported to the hospital after a single vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred at 5:21 PM in the 300 block of Juniper Lake Road just outside Pinehurst. The driver of the vehicle was headed west on Juniper Lake Road when he ran off the right-hand side of the road. The truck struck several trees before striking a large pine tree and spinning back around in almost the direction it was originally headed. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Moore Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Responding to the accident were Eastwood Fire Department, Pinehurst Fire & Rescue and Moore County EMS.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
