OutreachNC wins in National Mature Media Awards Program

OutreachNC is a winner in the 31st annual National Mature Media Awards Program. The program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market, recognizes the nation’s finest marketing, communications, educational materials, and programs designed and produced for older adults.

OutreachNC’s “Carrying On: Strategies for Coping During COVID and Beyond” received a Bronze Award for Publications/Editorial Division: Healthcare, and “Checks & Balances: A Financial Fitness Feature” was awarded a Merit Award for Publications/Editorial Division: Healthcare.

“We were honored to take part in the National Mature Media Awards Program, and we are thrilled to be selected for multiple awards,” says Amy Phariss, OutreachNC Editor in Chief. “We are grateful for the Program, for our staff, for the experts who offer their expertise and for our readers. ONC is a community effort, which remains our goal: supporting the community we live and thrive in.”

The entries were judged by a distinguished panel of mature market experts from across the United States for overall excellence of design, content, creativity and relevance to the senior market.

OutreachNC is a community-based resource and publication of Aging Outreach Services. It’s goal is to provide timely, relevant, and expert information helping readers 50+ embrace the “second 50” years of life. They include tips, interviews, insight, and information related to health and wellness, financial fitness, social connection, and professional development as senior adults transition into this next stage of life.

“We appreciate the Mature Media Awards Program’s recognition and look forward to another year of creative, informative, and enriching content,” said Phariss.
