Pinebluff man facing drug, gun charges

A 35-year-old man from Pinebluff is facing charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and three counts of possession of firearm by felon.

According to a news advisory from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, Oscar Hammond was arrested after a drug investigation and placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond for the charges.

“On November 23, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Hammond Road in Pinebluff,” said Fields. “During the investigation, Deputies located cocaine, marijuana, firearms, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia.”

The suspect is due in court on Nov. 30 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
