May 22nd – The power of music can have such a positive impact on the lives of young people. We were reminded of that tonight as Pinecrest treated us to beautiful music performed by talented students.
Matthew J. Holt, Orchestra Director and other student conductors lead different orchestras during the event. Most impressive was the large symphony orchestra, lead by Band Director Eugene Cottrell. The symphony orchestra, made up of orchestra and band students, performed a Star Wars medley.
Mr. Holt thanked the parents and volunteers for their work to support the Pinecrest music program. He reminded the audience that the entire music program is self supporting.
