Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina (BBB) recently recognized a company based in Pinehurst as a winner of its 2021 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
Veterans Guardian, founded by veterans Scott Greenblatt and William Taylor, is the large business category winner.
Veterans Guardian is a VA claim consulting firm and serves clients around the world. Founded in 2017, the company has hired more than 100 veterans, spouses of veterans, and active-duty military spouses in Moore County and the area surrounding Fort Bragg. Over the past year, the company has hired 30 new employees and has helped thousands of veterans around the globe.
Veterans Guardian works to help veterans attain the VA disability benefits they are medically and ethically eligible for as a result of their honorable service in the United States military.
They are no stranger to this award ceremony as they were the recipients of the 2020 BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the large business category.
The BBB Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics honor companies and charities which demonstrate a high level of character and ensure the organizations’ practices meet the highest standards of ethics.
