UPDATE: On April 26, Aberdeen Police Department announced Ms. Byrd was found.
Aberdeen Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Aberdeen woman.
Tyerra Brianna Byrd, age 22, was last seen in the Aberdeen area on Feb. 12.
“On 3/15/2023, the Aberdeen Police Department received a report of a missing person,” said Aberdeen Police Department. “We have looked diligently for Tyerra and have spoken with her family members, but we have been unable to locate her. Tyerra was last known to be in the parking lot of Truist Bank, where some of her belongings were located. We received information that Tyerra was possibly seen 2-3 weeks ago at the Holiday Inn in Southern Pines. It is unknown if Tyerra may be in the company of another person or if she is alone, and she is not known to have a vehicle.”
