Authorities are looking for a man who is considered armed and dangerous.

Southern Pines Police Department said in a news release Saturday they are looking for Claude Christopher Miles for the charges of first degree kidnapping and robbery with a firearm.

Police are accusing Miles of robbing the Southern Pines Little Caesars Pizza on December 17 and January 5 around 10:30 a.m. on both dates.

Miles is a black male, 42 years of age, 5’9”, 165 pounds, with a bald head and a black beard.  Miles also has a tattoo on his left hand that reads “Soup” and a tattoo on his left forearm that reads “Tribal.”  

“Miles should be considered armed and dangerous, and the community should not approach this wanted felony suspect if he is observed,” said Southern Pines Police Department.

Miles is known to frequent Aberdeen, Eastwood, Raeford, and Southern Pines.

Miles’ rap sheet with the Southern Pines Police Department includes robbery with a firearm, breaking and entering, violation of probation, theft of a motor vehicle, larceny, felony narcotic offenses and resisting arrest.  The news release said the suspect is known to illegally posses a firearm.
