There will be a public meeting regarding the proposed widening of N.C. 211 from N.C. 73 in West End to Holly Grove School Road with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). There will be no formal presentation made at the meeting; however, NCDOT is encouraging all community members to attend at any time during 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on August 3, 2017 at West End Presbyterian Church-The Crawford Center located at 275 Knox Lane in West End, to ask questions and make comments to NCDOT staff or submit written comments at the meeting. If individuals cannot make it to the meeting, NCDOT is accepting comments via phone, email, or mail by August 24, 2017. NCDOT stated that comments received will be taken into consideration as the project develops.
