Reward offered to help track down murder suspect

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information regarding the whereabouts and leading to the capture of Arrington Le’Trelle Fairley.

On Aug.19, authorities responded to a residence on Pine Hill Road in the West End area of Moore County.

Upon arrival, personnel found an unresponsive male at the residence who died at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained.

The victim was identified as Damon Harris, 30, of West End. This case is being investigated as a homicide and warrants have been obtained on Arrington Le’Trelle Fairley for the murder of Harris, according to Fields. Fairley should be considered armed and dangerous.

Fairley is also wanted by the Southern Pines Police Department in connection with a shooting that occurred on Aug. 14 in the West Michigan Avenue area in Southern Pines.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
