Robbins celebrates small-town America

A Northern Moore County summer would not be the same without the Robbins Farmers Day. Now in the 66th year, it attracted another huge crowd over the weekend.

Visitors enjoyed carnival rides, craft vendors, live entertainment, and of course, an ample offering of food you can only find at events like this.

Young and old seem to enjoy their time walking the streets closed off to traffic on a warm and muggy night.

Earlier in the day, the event featured an antique tractor and farm equipment show and a firefighter challenge.

Perhaps, the weekend highlight was a parade of tractors, farm animals and horses.
