Robbins Elementary students began remote learning for two weeks after several COVID-19 cases were reported, the school announced on its Facebook page Monday.

The shift to virtual learning began Tuesday, and students and staff will return to classrooms on Monday, March 1.

“This is a result of multiple classroom/group quarantines and several confirmed and suspected cases of secondary classroom transmission of the COVID-19 virus.” said the school.

Curbside meals will be available in the front parking lot from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. each school day.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this together,” the school said. “This is certainly not what we had planned on, but the safety of our students and staff always comes first.”

If you are unable to connect online or have any questions, please contact the school by calling 910-948-2411 or email [email protected].
