A Robbins man was arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a child, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Detectives arrested Jimmy Marvin Harris, 67, of Robbins, Friday afternoon. His bond was set at $75,000. The alleged crime took place on Halloween, according to information from the Moore County Detention Center.

“On November 1, 2019, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of indecent liberties with a child that occurred at a residence in the Robbins area of Moore County,” said Sheriff Fields in a Monday news release. “Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation which led to the arrest of a single suspect.”

Authorities did not release the age of the victim.

Harris has a Nov. 13 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
