The event was held Friday at Aberdeen Lake.

People love to dress up for the annual Sardine Festival.

The Sardine Festival is a whooper of a tradition for 27 years now. Tonya Thomas was crowned the 2019 Sardine Queen.

The festival raises money through donations for local youth organizations such as the Boy & Girls Club.
