Come share your vision for the future of Morganton Road. The Town of Southern Pines seeks your input on the redevelopment of a town-owned site at Morganton Road and S. Henley Street.
The Town of Southern Pines engaged the Development Finance Initiative (DFI) at UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Government to identify a feasible development plan for the Morganton Road property that meets both public and private interests. DFI’s process will result in the selection of a private development partner to execute the town’s vision. Your input at this session will ensure redevelopment of the site is guided by community interests.
What: Public input session to define guiding public interests for the Town’s Morganton Road property.
When: Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Douglass Center, 1185 W Pennsylvania Ave, Southern Pines.
