Sheriff announces arrests trailer thefts

Three men are accused of stealing trailers in Eagle Springs, according to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Last week, “the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny of multiple trailers in Eagle Springs,” said Fields in a statement. “After further investigation, Detectives were able to recover the stolen trailers and arrest the individuals responsible for the thefts.”

Arrested were Doniell Marice Watts, 35, of Star, Raymond Rodriguez Jr., 37, of Robbins, and Daniel Lee Crouch, 37, of Norman, North Carolina.
 
All three suspects were each charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny, two counts of possession of stolen goods, and chop shop activity vin/vehicle part number changed. 

Watts’ bond was set at $15,000, Rodriguez Jr was placed under a $250,000 bond, and Crouch was given a $35,000 bond.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
