Southern Pines man drug charges

A Southern Pines man is facing several drug charges after being arrested Thursday.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest took place in Southern Pines Friday.

“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Fort Bragg Road,” said Fields in a statement. “The executed search warrant was conducted at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”

Eligio Neal Delguercio III, 31, has a court date on July 1 facing charges of manufacture marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of cocaine, two counts of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, three counts of possession of firearm by felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

The suspect was placed under a $75,000 secured bond and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
