Southern Sinner Truck and 4x4 opens for business

Moore County now has a new truck and 4×4 specialty shop.

Southern Sinner Truck and 4×4 is a new auto customization business located in Aberdeen next to Burney Hardware.

They specialize in anything and everything aftermarket for trucks, Jeeps and SUVs ranging from full custom off-road builds all the way down to simple accessories such as lights and bed covers.

Southern Sinner is owned and operated by Joshua Gayheart who is a USMC veteran and has been turning wrenches on vehicles since he was big enough to hold one.

When asked why he decided to open his shop in Moore County, he stated, “I’ve had a love for custom vehicles all my life. To me, stock is boring. I’ve always modified and built my own. Everywhere I’d go in a truck that I’ve built, I’d get asked who did it for me. That was enough drive for me to bring that market here to Aberdeen. We have a huge truck and Jeep populace here, and up until now, there wasn’t a shop around that specialized in them the way that we do.”

Southern Sinner’s grand opening and first show competition is going to be held at their location on Oct. 15, with registration for show contestants between 10 a.m. and noon.

Southern Sinner Truck and 4 x 4 is located at 11815 US HWY 15-501 S.
