Don Most and Robert Wuhl headline the cast of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Most, best known for his portrayal of Ralph Malph on TV’s Happy Days, plays the role of Al Lewis; Wuhl, known for appearances in several blockbuster films and as the title character on HBO’s Arli$$, plays Willie Clark. The Sunshine Boys opens Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, October 22 at Owens Auditorium (3395 Airport Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374).
Most and Wuhl join a cast which includes returning Judson favorites Tim Garner, Dwan Hayes, and Rick McDermott. Making their JTC debuts, Louis Sallan and Emily Turner Marsland round out the cast.

Don Most (Al Lewis) grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and committed to the professional study of acting, singing, and dancing in junior high school. At fifteen, Don got his first big break as part of a teenage musical revue that played the famous “Borscht-Belt” circuit of New York’s Catskill Mountains. At age twenty, Don Most catapulted into the American zeitgeist when he won the role of Ralph Malph on ABC’s Happy Days, the beloved class comedian that won the hearts of America. In the two decades following the success of Happy Days, Don has continued to entertain and inspire audiences, and earn critical acclaim in a long list of roles include a recurring role in Glee, Men Of A Certain Age, Star Trek: Voyager, Sliders, Yes, Dear, The Crow, Sabrina, CHiPs, Baywatch, The Love Boat, Diagnosis: Murder, Century City, Dark Skies, and The Family Guy.
Robert Wuhl (Willie Clark) is a Two-time Emmy Award winner, best known for playing sports super-agent Arliss Michaels on HBO’s Arli$$ (which he also wrote and created). Robert Wuhl has appeared in the iconic movies Bull Durham, Tim Burton’s Batman, Good Morning Vietnam, The Bodyguard, and Flashdance. As a writer, he co-wrote the 1990 and 1991 Academy Awards (with Billy Crystal). Other TV includes Assume the Position, 2 Minute Drill, Poker Royale, and American Dad.
Neil Simon (Playwright) was born in the Bronx on July 4, 1927. He is a recipient of the Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Awards and is a Kennedy Center honoree. Among his plays: Barefoot in the Park, The Odd Couple, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Sunshine Boys, Chapter Two, and the Brighton Beach trilogy (Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, Broadway Bound). Simon also wrote the book for the musicals They’re Playing Our Song, Promises Promises, Little Me, and Sweet Charity. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Lost in Yonkers. He wrote original screenplays for The Goodbye Girl, The Out-of-Towners, The Heartbreak Kid, Murder by Death, and The Cheap Detective. He is the bestselling author of the memoirs Rewrites and The Show Goes On. There is a Broadway theatre named after him.
