Two local men are behind bars accused of breaking into vehicles in Southern Pines, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Ronnie Fields said Mason Everett Galloway, 23, of Aberdeen, and James Nicholas Odum, 41, of Southern Pines, broke into several cars in the Highland Trails neighborhood last week.

Both suspect were arrested days later and each charged with nine counts of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, four counts of misdemeanor larceny, and four counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.

Galloway was placed under a $50,000 bond while Odum was given an $80,000 bond. Both have a Dec. 5 court date and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
