The Town of Vass is now a part of the growing trend of hosting Farmer’s Markets. It was announced that the Town Board approved Vass’ first Farmer’s Market.
Now Vass and Moore County residents can buy locally grown produce at Sandy Ramey Park.
Local farmers will be bringing produce, eggs, baked goods, and other food to the parking lot at Sandy Ramey Park this Saturday, August 19th. The park is located at 3600 US Highway 1 in Vass. The market will be held from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The board also approved of flock swapping; however, the animals must be contained or restrained, and the owners must clean up afterward.
