Moore County is under a Tropical Storm Warning due to Hurricane Michael.  Forecasters say Moore County could see as much as 5 inches of rain. Michael is expected to reach the Sandhills Thursday.

The ground is still saturated in places from Hurricane Florence which means flash flooding and trees can topple more easily in high winds.

Governor Cooper said at a Tuesday press conference that forecasters aren’t expecting the same kind of major river flooding caused by Florence, but people shouldn’t let their guard down.  Conditions should improve on Friday.
